People constantly ask, “How do I create a website?” …or do you think I need one? Is it hard?
My response is usually, “well, depends… what is the product/brand you’re bringing to the market?” Everyone thinks their brand or product is something that everyone needs. I usually suggest a sit down conversation and conduct a roleplay for them to try selling me their product or brand.
Creating a website for me is not hard. I have vast resources and experience in this area. Sometimes all a person needs is a simple site usually without the bells & whistles. Are you an artist, a musician or a funeral mortician? If you’re promoting your funeral services, you don’t need a flashy website with music and scrolling graphics.
“My #1 piece of advice is “don’t get a website just because you think you need one or see someone else has one.””
Anytime a website is created, you have to be mindful of the mood you portray to potential clients. Typography, colors and imagery is SO important to a website because it represents your brand/company.
